A deeper dome for more coverage.
The Prostorm’s deep 46” arc-diameter is less flat and offers more dome-depth than most other umbrellas. While an umbrella’s straight diameter measures the distance under the canopy, the arc-diameter will denote the depth of the umbrella’s dome. In general, a deeper dome will give you more coverage and more wind resistance than a flatter one.
Ratchet safety shaft to help prevent wrist strain
Resetting your umbrella can be hard on your wrist. The Prostorm’s unique “ratchet safety shaft” allows you to reset the umbrella in stages. This helps reduce wrist strain and prevents accidental ejection, if your grip slips during resetting.
Auto-open, auto-close button system & slip-proof handle
Press once to auto open, press again to close. The rubberized, ergonomic handle is super-comfortable and fits right into your palm. A soft wrist strap keeps it secure.
Double-vented, sturdy, wind-resistant frame system
Vented canopy navigates wind through your canopy to prevent inversion from strong winds. The sturdy 9-rib frame is made from durable fiberglass and steel.
Maximum water repellency treatment
The special “nano-weave” technology repels water & oil, raindrops just roll right off. Independent AATCC-22 spray test data show this treatment is the most water-repellent treatment in the market. Self-cleaning and anti-stain characteristics ensures fabric longevity.
